Obeo Video Tours
Obeo is excited to offer two new video options for our members. The first option allows you to create a video file, using the existing images on the virtual tour. The second option allows you to link to an externally hosted video (ie YouTube, WellcomeMat, Vimeo, etc.) from the Obeo HomeSite tour. You can enable one or both of these options on your Obeo listing.
The Video options are only available for those tours that are using HomeSite. Initially this video option is free of charge and included with every HomeSite Tour. In order to create or configure the video service, log into the Member's Area and click on [Edit Tour]. A new VIDEO tab shows up on the Edit_Tour menu.
The left side of this screen is for the Obeo Created Video and the right side is if you wish to link to an existing video that is already being hosted somewhere (i.e. YouTube, WellcomeMat, etc.). You can choose to enable either video option or both if you want.

Obeo Created Video
Obeo can automatically create a video file from the photos and listing information on this property. The video will display the photos and panoramas of the listing, your contact information, brief listing details and can also include background music.
In order to ensure that the video is generated with the correct information, we ask you to verify 4 pieces of information and check off each box as you do so. After checking each box, the 'Create Video' button will be enabled.
Once you click the 'Create Video' button, the screen changes to reflect the fact that the video is being created. It could take up to 24 hours for the video to be created and uploaded to YouTube.

After the video is created, you will have the ability to
-
Preview the Obeo Generated video on YouTube,
-
Download and play the .mp4 version of the video to your computer. You can also take this file and upload to any other video hosting site or load it into a portable media player (e.g. iPod)
-
Re-Create the video. If you change the image order or background music (or discover that there are errors in the listing information, you can re-create the video.
-
Note: If you click Re-Create then a new video will be created, but the old video will still be available to be viewed. To removed the old video you will need to call Customer Service or your local Consultant.
External Video
You can link any kind of external video to your HomeSite tour that you wish. Perhaps, you have already created a video, either by hiring a professional videographer or by doing a walkthrough of the house yourself or you may have video that introduces the neighborhood or city or even a video profile of the Real Estate Agent. The only requirement is that the video be hosted on a publicly accessible web site.
Copy and Paste the EMBED or OBJECT code from the video hosting site to this field and click 'Set External Video Link'. If the site where you video is being hosted doesn't offer OBJECT/EMBED code, then you can just enter the link to the actual webpage where the video can be viewed (e.g. 'http://www.mywebsite.com/video_introduction.html')
What does it look like in HomeSite?
Once you enable either of the video options, a new VIDEO icon will appear in the Virtual Tour menu in HomeSite. Clicking this link will allow anyone viewing the tour to watch the Externally Hosted video, download the Obeo Generated video or view the Obeo Generated video on YouTube.

-
View Property Video - This link will open up a browser window and display the externally linked video if one was enabled in the Member's Area. This link will only display in HomeSite if an external video was enabled.
-
Download MPEG-4 Video File - This will allow you to download the Obeo Generated video file in an MP4 format.
